I've been mixing and mastering the EP here for a long time fixing and trying to make it sound like a complete piece of art. Though I first found it impossible to get the songs sound alike, I'm very close to that point where I'm satisfied with the result. I now have a "premaster" of the EP ready and I'm going to listen it everywhere I can, so I can be sure it sounds right. Well, would it be a studio diary without some ridiculous yarn about all the hardship and misfortune in the studio. I was supposed to record guitars yesterday, but a couple of days later my guitar amp went silent. So, I ordered a quartet of preamp tubes for my amp. Anyway, the same thing was about a year ago when we were recording songs like Trollfolk, Ravished, Kirvesmies and Deathknot. Then my amp did the exact same thing before I could record the guitars. I actually used my friends amp and cabinet for those songs. The amp used was Engl Powerball.Studio Diary: Part 1
